The Pan-Atlantic University Community hosted its annual Carol ceremony on Wednesday, 13th of December, at the Eko foyer of the TY Danjuma academic complex.
The carol began with an opening prayer by the University Chaplain, Reverend Father Ifeanyi Ogboh and a remark by the registrar, Mr Kingsley Ukaoha.
This year’s hosts, Maryann Nkorji and Chukwudi Ofoma, introduced the theme as “An African Christmas,” eliciting cheerful responses from the audience.
The carol showcased several musical performances by the Pan-Atlantic University choir and the chapel choir. The Euphoria Club and Drama Club also wowed the audience with their presentation titled “Christmas Spirit,” conveying the holiday season’s wonderful message. Moyosoreoluwa Adeniyi also performed a spoken word titled “The First Noel,” expressing the birth of Christ.
The reading of the nine lessons by various students and staff members of Pan-Atlantic University was particularly noteworthy.
The Carol culminated with students dancing to music, creating a merry Christmas atmosphere.
