Pan-Atlantic University recently hosted its Community Engagement Programme on Friday, January 12th, where the university’s Community Service Project (CSP) in collaboration with Ibeju Lekki Local Government took center stage. The event featured the presentation of gifts and prizes to exceptional students from Ibeju-Lekki who distinguished themselves in the maiden JAMB Quiz-A-Thon competition, identified by the hashtag #PAUQuizathon.
This accomplishment is a direct outcome of the university’s strategic alliance with Ibeju Lekki Local Government, a pivotal element of our Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programme dedicated to fostering academic excellence.
As part of the programme, Pan-Atlantic University’s Community Relations department inaugurated Social Science/Arts Tutorials, addressing the educational needs of senior secondary students in public schools within Ibeju/Lekki LGA.
The event drew distinguished attendees, including the Chairman of the Ibeju Lekki Local Government, accompanied by cabinet members, as well as parents and teachers of the recognized students. Key members of the university community, including the Registrar, Mr. Kingsley Ukaoha, Community Relations Manager, Mr. Frank Wiggle, and the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Enase Okonedo, played pivotal roles in contributing to the event’s success.
This event underscored Pan-Atlantic University’s commitment to academic excellence, community development, and meaningful partnerships.
