For the past 25 years, Lagos Business School has focused on developing leaders for Africa and the world. The School has recently responded to an identified need, to develop young professionals, with the introduction of a new programme targeted at young managers – MAP.
The programme has been designed to equip emerging leaders with the relevant skills required to stimulate new ideas, lead confidently, make smart decisions and manage change in our dynamic business environment. It will also impart ethical and sustainable business practices geared towards making participants responsible business leaders.
The maiden edition of the Management Acceleration Programme, MAP 1, began at the School yesterday with 35 participants. The class is made up of professionals from different sectors of the economy including oil and gas, telecoms, services, pharmaceuticals and financial services.
Participants were welcomed by the Director, Executive Education, Henry Onukwuba. They were also given a guided tour of the School’s facilities before settling in for the classroom sessions for the day.
With the introduction of this programme, LBS now offers a broad spectrum of management education programmes that cater to the needs of managers at all levels.
